The PMINYC Agile Program has 3-4 events a year. We are here to support you at all stages of your career.

Whether you’re new to agile or a long-time practitioner, the PMINYC Agile Program aims to meet your needs through continued education.

Our team embodies the spirit of agile by continually evolving our resources to reflect the latest content and media. We create relationships with agile enthusiasts to bring you interesting, engaging and informative webinars and workshops.

Our Education program offers classes to further your knowledge of agile. If you're looking for more hands on learning or pursuing a certification, please check out our education offerings. Some classes offer multiple sessions to offer flexibility with your schedule. All classes are Eastern Time.

 

JIRA

 

Fundamentals

Jira fundamentals training is targeted for team members and those in an oversight role for technology and sustainment programs. The hands-on training teaches students how to use Jira to manage and track their work in an immersive environment that stimulates a large, diverse, organization.

The course covers Jira fundamentals such as how to create and search for issues, as well as how to use popular Agile methods Scrum and Kanban while putting them in a practical context.

Intermediate

Jira intermediate training is targeted for team members and those in an oversight role for technology delivery and sustainment programs. The hands-on training teaches students how to use Jira to manage and track their work in an immersive environment that builds a large, diverse organization. Thoughtfully configured and enhanced with a carefully curated set of plugins, the training highlights lessons learned and best practices, demonstrating how effortless Jira can be.

Pre-requisites:

Some knowledge of Jira is required: you have either used Jira for 6 months or more, or have attended Jira fundamentals
