All candidates for election or appointment to the PMI NYC Board must have completed a minimum of 2 years of service as a PMI NYC Vice President, Director, or Program Manager or a combination of these roles plus specific role-related skills as documented in the applicable detailed role description.  Any exceptions must be approved by the Board.

The Board may approve the waiver of term limits in the case of no candidate standing for election for an open Board position.  The waiver is not to exceed one additional term.
